“Koinobori” (Carp Streamer) is the most distinctive scenery of spring Boys’ Festival or nowadays Children’s Day. held every year on May 5th. Carp Streamer are full of energy and power that they can fight their way up streams and cascades. Therefore they are a symbol of strength and determination to overcome all obstacles, it stands for courage and the ability to attain high goals.
