“Good Citizens of Singapore is a collection of embroidery inspired by citizens from all walks of life in the Singapore society. For this collection, we produced it for Supermama, a retail gallery based in Singapore.”

For this project, we fell in love with the Good Citizens Patches right from the first glimpse at the illustrations files. Firstly because of the vivid colors and fun design, then deeper as we learned about the beautiful concept behind this project. The details where so fine that we had to reinvent some of our techniques. We decided that words just won’t cut it, and went straight on for first sample making that allowed us faster smoother communication on the final results.

「シンガポールのグッド・シチズンズ（Good Citizens）はシンガポール社会で様々な生活を営む一般市民の姿から生まれた刺繍コレクションで、シンガポールを拠点とするギャラリーショップ、 スーパーママ向けにプロデュースした。」 このプロジェクトでは、初めてイラストファイルでグッド・シチズンズのワッペンを見た瞬間に心を奪われた。理由はそのビビッドなカラーと楽しいデザインだ。さらにこのプロジェクトの裏にある素晴らしいコンセプトを知るにつれてますます深く入れ込んでいった。細部が非常に精巧なため私たちの技術を改める必要もあった。議論するのではなく、すぐに最初のサンプルを実際に製作することにし、結果としてより迅速でスムーズにお互いの意図を反映したものができあがった。
